Alexander Nazarov

Head Creative Producer of LEAN-M.

Born in May, the 14th, 1966 in Moscow.

In 1989 and 1990 was studying in Leningrad State Theatre, Music and Cinematography Institue (LGITMiK), named after Cherkasov, at an acting faculty (workshop of Ruben Agamirzyan). Not having completed the course, goes, invited by Yuri Lyubimov, to study his course, at Moscow Drama and Comedy Theatre at Taganka square. In 1994 graduates from the Higher Theatre Institute, named after Schukin, workshop of Yuri Lyubimov, acting-directing faculty), with the «theatre, cinema and variety artist» diploma.

Since 1994 has been performing in Moscow «Sovremennik» («Contemporary») theatre. Over the years, spent in the theatre, has created a lot of interesting characters. Among his actors works in cinema and television are: «Gastarbeiter», «April», «Magnetic Storms», TV series: «Maroseyka, 12», «Drongo», «Twins», «Hunting on Asphalt», «In the First Circle», «Taxi-driver-3», «Bus».

Since 1996 has been working in Moscow theatres as a guest director. Teaches «master of acting» in Schukin Theatre Institute and in Russian State Institute of Cinematography, named after Gerasimov (VGIK).

Among his directing works are such shows as «Sea-gull» (collaboration of Moscow independent Theatre «Vernisazh» and «IA-Theater»), «Sweetie» («Russian Collection» Theatre), «Russian Holiday», «Crazy from Shayo» (Theatre Studio of Georgiy Taratorkin), «Voyrsek» (Drama and Directing Center, directed by Kazantsev and Roschin), «Balalaykin and Co» (Moscow «Sovremennik» Theatre, this is a re-newed show of Georgiy Tovstonogov, put on in Moscow «Sovremennik» theatre in 1973), «City» (Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theatre Studio), «From Monday till Thursday» (Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theatre Studio), «Arabian Night» (Theatre Studio of Georgiy Taratorkin), «Rules of Behavior in Modern Society» (RAMT — Russian Academic Youth Theatre), «Confessions of earl Kasatskiy» (Theatre Studio of Georgiy Taratorkin), «Don Quixote de La Mancha» (Servantes Institute in Moscow and Alexander Nazarov T-33 Theatre Team), «A Real English Ghost» (RAMT), «Love» (a farce at the Statue of Liberty) — Yuli Malakyants Open Theatre — and others.

Many of his shows participated in international theatre festivals, and were nominated for theatre awards.

From September 2002 was working in Chekhov Moscow Art Academic Theater (now MXT) as artistic director assistant, dealing with creative issues and forming the company and repertoire.

From January, 2005 to May, 2007 was working in a Creative Production Union «Teleroman» of AMEDIA Cinema company as a head director of TV series: «Talisman of Love», «Love as Love», «All Messed up at Home», «Right for Happiness», «Don’t be born Beautiful». The head director of separate sitcom series: «Big Girls» and «All is Possible!».

From June, 2007 was working at RWS cinema company as a creative producer of TV series: «Atlantis», «Brothers-detective» and «We are the champions».

From January 2008 has been working as the Head Creative Producer of LEAN-M company.
