Graduated from a faculty of journalism of Kazakh State University. Has been working in television since 1986.

As a director prepared special reports for ORT (1^st Channel): «Ulitsa Kontrabandistov» («The Street of Smugglers»), «Karabash — chyornoye pyatno planety» («Karabash — the Planet’s Black Spot»), «Dva Boytsa» («Two Fighters»). Worked as the head director of a weekly program «Vmeste» («Together») on ORT (1^st Channel), «Absolutnyi Slukh» («Absolute Pitch») —  7TV, «Scorpions in Russia» (co-director), documentary TV programs: «Alexander Abdulov. Vozvrascheniye Domoy» and «Renat Akchurin. Vozvrascheniye Domoy» («Alexander Abdulov. Way Back Home», «Renat Akchurin. Way Back Home») for the 1^st Channel, documentary films «Debut Pokoleniya» (TV Channel «Culture») and «Mikhail Lermontov. Posledniy Kruiz» for NTV («Generation’s Debut» and «Mikhail Lermontov. The last Voyage»).

In 2004 was working as a TV director on the series: «33 Square Meters» (CTC) and «Afro-Moscovite-2» (REN TV). As an executive producer was working on the series «Students» (first season, REN TV) and, «Corporative Story» (REN TV).
